Includes a three-page collection of thoughts on and lessons learned from war, original poetry composed by Braithwaite, his Division's newsletter, and a editorial piece describing how the war affected the path of Braithwaite's life after his discharge. Also contains a short, insightful narrative describing the advance of Allied infantrymen through forests laced with German mines, with emphasis on the courage and determination needed to proceed in such a situation.
